This 1-hour program will expand the professional's understanding  of ethical considerations for counseling during times of COVID with a focus on teletherapy, training and supervision, and trauma-informed treatment. Research has demonstrated increases in anxiety, depression, intimate partner abuse, and grief and loss during the pandemic.
This presentation will discuss:
1. The case for all practioners to provide care through a trauma-informed lens
2. Address the diverse forms of trauma and the many ways distress is presented in clients
3. The impacts on psychology training programs and the adjustments made with considertion of ethical practices
4. The use, safety, and accessibilty of clients and practioners
