My Approach to Therapy:

Liminal spaces include being at the threshold of something new or on the border between two places or stages. Examples include transitioning into adulthood, graduating, relocating, starting or changing a career, experiencing health changes, getting married or divorced, becoming a parent, grieving a loss, losing your sense of self/identity, starting retirement, ending a relationship, engaging in mental health services, and experiencing creative blocks. Liminal spaces can be stressful, anxiety provoking, challenging, and painful; however, they are also an opportunity to transform, redefine, establish community, reconnect with your creativity, and reconnect with your spirituality. My other specialties include self-esteem, stress management, social skills, communication skills, grief/loss, anger management, and ADHD management. Clients receive psychoeducation (e.g. information, resources, and support) to better understand and cope with a mental health diagnosis. I provide art therapy and counseling from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Adlerian therapy, Jungian psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems approach to support clients in making progress towards their identified goals.
