If you are a BIPOC professional who wants to elevate their public speaking skills to:
- Increase your speaker revenue
- Feel more confident on stage
- Speak to larger audiences
- Use props and presentation materials like a pro
Plus, obtain strategies for securing speaking engagements and templates for speaking contracts.
This will be a practical workshop with opportunities to practice a talk and receive immediate feedback.
The goal of the workshop is to cultivate practical techniques for enhancing public  speaking skills, applicable to both professional and personal interactions. You will:
- Boost your confidence in speaking from the stage
- Speak with authority on the stage and in meetings
- Gain skills to better prepare for speaking engagements
- Practice your presentation skills and feedback on the spot
This will be an intimate space designed to ensure you receive specific feedback. Space is limited. Register Today!
How to Prepare:
- Come prepared to deliver a 30-45 second presentation on a topic that brings you joy (travel, pets, art, music, sports, food, etc)
- Be prepared to receive feedback and share feedback with others
- Bring your notebook and be open to stepping outside your comfort zone

Naeemah Elias, Elias Presence Ventures, is a dynamic professional holding a BA in Psychology from Harvard College, has decades of public speaking experience and a career as an award-winning professional actress. Recognized with prestigious awards like the Elliot Norton, IRNE, and Best of Boston. Naeemah has left an enduring imprint on both national and international stages through her exceptional performances, including a notable tour with the American Repertory Theatre.
Her professional journey transcends the spotlight, showcasing a multifaceted talent in corporate program and process design. With a deep commitment to excellence, Naeemah has conducted over 80 corporate workshops, catering to a diverse audience that spans high school interns, mid-level professionals, and senior executives. Her coaching prowess is evident in guiding more than 4500 colleagues through classes of varying sizes, from intimate settings to larger groups of 200.
Dr. Charmain Jackman is an award-winning psychologist, author, soon-to-be TedxRoxbury Speaker, and leadership coach. She is a leading voice on mental health and workplace wellbeing and CEO/founder of InnoPsych, a premier resource for impactful and inclusive mental health solutions. After two bouts of burnout, she decided to make sustainable changes in her life and is deeply invested in helping others thrive. She leverages her experiences with burnout and racial trauma to elevate conversations about healthy self-care practices and to inspire others to take daily actions to prioritize their mental health through joy and mindfulness. She is creator of the My Time To Thrive card deck, an interactive tool for stress reduction. Dr. Charmain consults with leaders to transform workplace cultures into psychologically safe environments. She was awarded the 2021 City of Boston’s Black History Month’s Innovator of the Year award and the 2021 American Psychological Association’s Citizen Psychologist Award.
