About the Event

We are extremely excited to share a ground-breaking program, Free My Mind: Healing From Racial Stress workshop. We created this program after hearing from employees of color about the challenges they are experiencing around racial stress at work. A dive into the research highlighted that employees often remain silent about incidents of bias, leaving their leaders in the dark about important culture leaks. Unfortunately, these experiences erode employees’ sense of safety and trust in the workplace and in their leaders. They can also lead to burnout, absenteeism, decreased work performance, and in some cases exiting the company. We know that companies work hard to recruit and retain diverse talent, and the Free My Mind: Healing From Racial Stress is a tested solution that we want to offer you.

Benefits of Free My Mind: Healing From Racial Stress Workshop Series

  • Increase their awareness of the neurobiological responses to racial stress and trauma
  • Explore research on the impact of racial trauma
  • Practice mindfulness strategies for stress reduction
  • Participate in creative exercises to release toxic emotions
  • Engage in a collective practices that improve emotional wellbeing
