Join Dr. Jackman as she discusses one of her favorite TV shows about therapy, HBO’s In Treatment. Dr. Jackman created InnoPsych to increase access to therapists of color and to promote positive messages about therapy and mental health in communities of color. As HBO re-launches the series with a Black female therapist played by Uzo Aduba, Dr. Jackman knew she had to use this show to engage communities of color about therapy and mental health! Dr. Jackman will be joined by other therapists and friends who have participated in therapy (and some who have not) to address stigma, myths, and to engage in a dialogue about the benefits of therapy and the value of attending to our mental health needs.  This week’s guests: Dr. Vanessa Prosper, Dr. Shani Turner, and Psychology Candidate, Kwame Dance
