Sawubona Healing Circles: Haitian Healing Circles

The Black Family Summit, Inc. (BFS) is a national

network of over 30 Black professional organizations

committed to the preservation and strengthening of the

Black Family in its various forms as the foundation for

the survival, restoration and development of Black

communities worldwide.

BFS has developed a series of culturally-responsive and

trauma-informed initiatives in response to the realities

impacting the well-being of our Haitian brothers and

sisters. With funding from Casey Family Programs, BFS

Programming Team developed a Healing Services Model

in collaboration with member organizations. The

Association of Black Psychologists, Inc. (ABPsi ) will

provide virtual Sawubona Healing CirclesTM for members

of the Haitian community.
