InnoPsych is committed to your privacy and to being transparent about how we handle the small amount of personal information we collect when you subscribe to our newsletter through this tool.

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

If you choose to join our newsletter, we collect only what is necessary to deliver the service you request. We do not collect health information, clinical data, or any information that would qualify as Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA.

What we collect and why:

• First Name — To personalize your welcome email and communications
• Last Name — To maintain accurate subscriber records
• Email Address — To send the newsletter and wellbeing insights
• Subscription date & source — To maintain a record of your consent

What we do NOT collect:
We do not collect, store, or process your wellbeing scores, stress levels, self-assessment responses, or any data you enter into the Rate, Reflect, or Restore sections of this tool. All assessment activity stays in your browser session only and is never transmitted to our servers.

3. HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect your information only through the voluntary newsletter subscription form in the Resources section of this tool. You are never required to provide any personal information to use the wellbeing assessment features.

The form uses a simple math question to prevent automated bot signups. We also use a hidden honeypot field for additional spam protection. Neither of these collects data about you.

We may use standard web analytics (such as page view counts) to understand how the tool is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

4. WHY WE COLLECT IT & LEGAL BASIS

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to have a lawful basis for processing personal data. For EU/EEA residents, our legal basis is:

Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a))
You provide your name and email voluntarily by completing and submitting the subscription form. This is an active, informed opt-in. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), we are required to disclose the categories of personal information we collect and the business purposes for collecting it. We collect contact identifiers (name and email) for the purpose of providing our newsletter service, which you explicitly request.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate the newsletter. Each is used solely for the purpose described below.

Lovable (lovable.dev/privacy)
Purpose: Website hosting and application delivery
Data shared: None — no personal data is stored by Lovable

Airtable (airtable.com/privacy)
Purpose: Subscriber database storage
Data shared: Name, email, date, source

Kit / ConvertKit (kit.com/privacy)
Purpose: Email delivery and newsletter automation
Data shared: Name, email

We do not share your data with any other third parties. We will disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of individuals.

International Data Transfers
Our service providers are based in the United States. If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We ensure that our service providers maintain adequate data protection standards consistent with GDPR requirements (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable).

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
─────────────────────────────────────

We retain your name and email address for as long as you are subscribed to the InnoPsych newsletter. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active subscriber list within 30 days.

We may retain anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total subscriber counts) for statistical purposes after deletion, but this data cannot be used to identify you.

Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

California residents have the right to:

• Delete your personal information
• Opt out of sale (we don't sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising rights
• Correct inaccurate information
• Limit use of sensitive data

Unsubscribing
You may unsubscribe from the InnoPsych newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing thrive@innopsych.com. Unsubscribing will not affect your ability to use the Soul-Care Wellbeing Wheel™ tool.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The InnoPsych Soul-Care Wellbeing Wheel™ and newsletter are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at thrive@innopsych.com and we will promptly delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption, Airtable access controls and two-factor authentication, secure email delivery via Kit, and bot prevention on the signup form.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

HIPAA Notice
The Soul-Care Wellbeing Wheel™ is a general wellness tool. It is not a medical device, clinical service, or healthcare provider. The information you enter during your self-assessment (stress levels, wellbeing scores) is processed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to or stored by InnoPsych. This tool does not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) and is not subject to HIPAA.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also notify active subscribers by email.
