My Approach to Therapy:
I primarily offer psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I strongly believe in evidence-based care and will rarely use complex regimens that are not supported by clinical research or medical literature. I do employ an holistic approach that will integrate alternative therapies, health/nutrition as well as spirituality. I am also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed and culturally competent care. I use clinically reliable and valid screening tools like the PHQ-9, MDQ, PCL-5 and GAD7 to assess and track symptom severity. My clients benefit from a blended approach of medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
