My Approach to Therapy:
I offer a holistic, culturally‑attuned psychotherapy approach for individuals who often appear to “have it all together” yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to reclaim their authentic selves. My practice supports high‑achievers, caregivers, and multicultural clients—especially those in AAPI, mixed‑racial, or multicultural communities—who navigate anxiety, burnout, people‑pleasing, and cultural identity concerns. In our work, we view the whole person (mind, body, culture, relationships, environment) rather than treating symptoms in isolation. I integrate evidence‑based modalities (CBT, motivational interviewing, internal parts/narrative work) with somatic practices (grounding, breathwork, body awareness) and cultural understanding. I provide practical tools to manage anxiety, set boundaries, honor values, and reconnect with what brings joy—while maintaining responsibilities they care about. My process is collaborative, with warmth, presence, and clinical expertise, while honoring clients’ and their ancestors’ insight and wisdom. Together we untangle the “shoulds” (family expectations, cultural norms, internal critics) from what’s aligned, so clients can live with more ease, clarity, and belonging.
