My Approach to Therapy:

Hi, I'm Dr. Jessica Shine, a therapist deeply committed to helping women of color heal from unique traumas like racialized trauma, church hurt, and generational trauma. My background in working with diverse cultures and my passion for empowering women of color make me the ideal therapist for you. I am here to be your accountability partner, shoulder to cry on, and cheerleader as we uncover the root of your negative patterns and thoughts. Together, we'll use an eclectic blend of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and

Psychodynamic techniques, as well as my certifications in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD and the Prepare/Enrich and Gottman methods, to help you reach your full potential.
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and Gottman trained. I also have extensive training and certification in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, one of the most highly effective treatments for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among many other mental health needs.
I’d love the opportunity to meet you and help you blossom into the person you desire to be. I'm a down-to-earth therapist interested in supporting women of color on their healing journeys. Let's connect today and start your journey toward healing and growth.
