My Approach to Therapy:

I specialize in multicultural counseling and am affirming of clients’ cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and clients across the gender spectrum.

I work with youth and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, sexuality and gender-related concerns, family relationship challenges, and transitions or challenges that arise during different phases of life. My experience also includes working with clients navigating chronic medical conditions and family stressors.

My approach is primarily psychodynamic, incorporating interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based on each client’s needs and goals. I hold a certificate in CBT and can incorporate more structured CBT interventions upon request.

I also work with young children, ages 3–7, alongside their parents through play-based dyadic therapy. This approach supports young children’s emotional development while helping parents better understand and respond to their child’s needs and experiences.
