My Approach to Therapy:

Latisha McMurray, LMSW, is a dedicated mental health therapist with a passion for both helping individuals heal from trauma and promoting physical fitness as a holistic approach to well-being.

With a background in inpatient mental health settings, Latisha has honed her skills in providing compassionate and effective therapy to individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges, with a special focus on trauma and abuse survivors.
Latisha's journey into mental health advocacy and therapy began with a deep-rooted desire to understand and support those who have experienced profound emotional and psychological wounds.
This led her to pursue a Master of Social Work degree and become a licensed social worker, where she has since gained invaluable experience in working with diverse populations and tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet each individual's unique needs.

In addition to her expertise in trauma-focused therapy, Latisha strongly believes in the power of physical fitness and wellness practices as integral components of mental health recovery. She incorporates evidence-based techniques and encourages her clients to explore physical activities that promote relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.

Latisha's approach is characterized by empathy, respect, and a commitment to empowering her clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Her work is guided by a deep understanding of the complex interplay between mental, emotional, and physical health, and she is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, cultivate self-care practices, and thrive in their lives.

Tish is not just a mental health therapist; she's a guiding force, encouraging others to embark on a holistic journey towards wellness. Her mission is to break down the barriers between mental health and fitness, promoting a harmonious approach that nurtures both the mind and the body.
