My Approach to Therapy:

I am passionate about serving communities and people of color (POC) as a 2nd-gen Taiwanese American. As a Certified EMDR Therapist, I place an emphasis on the mind-body/gut-brain connection. We may be a good fit if you have experienced PTSD, birth trauma, maternal/perinatal mental health concerns, race-based trauma/oppression, compassion fatigue, sudden losses (including miscarriage), and/or chronic health issues (such as PCOS, infertility, & chronic pain). In sessions, you can expect for me to to utilize Brené Brown's research on shame through the Daring Way™, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed EMDR therapy, integrative/holistic health & somatic perspectives, and the Enneagram, when appropriate. I am also currently completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT).
