My Approach to Therapy:
Do you feel worried, anxious, or unsafe? You are not alone. From my past experiences, I know how it feels to be worried, anxious, or sad. I have dedicated my career to help others to manage these feelings and to offer support. Our work together is to strengthen your sense of self and build your emotional muscle. My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are in the moment. I offer a supportive and safe space to explore thoughts, stressors, experiences, strengths and ways of coping to help you deal with life's ups and downs. I can help you to live to your greatest full potential in life.
I believe that YOU can heal. My individual sessions explore skills and resources to build your 'toolbox' in order to use them in the moment of distress or life transition. My skills and past experiences have prepared me to facilitate a therapeutic process that leads to emotional and psychological health, insight and healing.
I have expertise in working with trauma-related problems including anxiety and depression. I am trained in Trauma Informed CBT and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) and use various approaches tailored to your needs. Let's start a journey of self-discovery and healing.
