My Approach to Therapy:

I am a board-certified, Harvard-trained psychiatrist and psychotherapist. My approach to patient care is rooted in collaboration, mutual respect, and recognition of the role of structural and historical factors in shaping individual experience. I especially encourage those who are new to mental healthcare to reach out. No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together to design a treatment that honors your unique history, identity, and story.

I believe in helping people live freer, more fulfilled lives. I specialize in minority mental health, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and cross-cultural psychiatry. I have particular interests in working with artists, academics, and healthcare professionals. I offer both psychotherapy and general outpatient psychiatric care.

In addition to my clinical services, I have significant experience designing and facilitating narrative/arts-based community building workshops. I have also lectured on a range of topics in AAPI mental health, narrative medicine, and university mental health. Reach out to discuss how I can help support your organization and/or community.
