My Approach to Therapy:

"Common psychiatric issues for which I routinely offer advice and treatment include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Many of my patients are younger adults with non-traditional backgrounds. Having lived in three continents, I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender and sexuality.

Psychiatry is an art as well as a science. To be effective, it requires a relationship between patient and provider founded on trust and mutual understanding. My goal is to build long-lasting relationships to get your mental health as good as it can be. To that aim, my practice offers a culturally sensitive environment with no-rush appointments that emphasize patient education. Thanks to tele-medicine, I can treat patients located anywhere in California, Massachusetts, Georgia, Pennsylvania or Texas.

Before starting in private practice, I served as Chief Resident of adult psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine, where I also completed my residency training. I hold an M.D. degree from Ross University and a B.Sc. degree from the University of Virginia."
