My Approach to Therapy:
With over 20 years of experience working with individuals along all aspects of their Mental Health care, I offer professional, personalized and supportive counseling services. My experience both professionally and some aspects personally, spans across the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, heightened stress, complex grief as well as self-care, self-love and self-acceptance. I utilize and draw from a variety of modalities based on a client’s needs that include but are not limited to CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness and Talk therapy.
As a proud member of the BIPOC community, and a strong ally to those who identify as LGBTQ+, I know from experience how systemic suppression impacts our lineage and our present-day health and wellbeing. While we cannot control our bloodlines or society itself, I work with clients to recognize and break generational curses, while finding liberation/freedom from inherited adversity.
Whether you're struggling with a diagnosed mental health disorder or navigating the ups and downs of life - I am here to support you and support your own accountability with care. My goal is to help my clients focus on empowering themselves to get to their own version of healing.
