My Approach to Therapy:

"While I love a good gratitude practice, I am not going to help you find the silver-linings in your life. I will hold space for the hard stuff. That’s because before we can get to fixing (spoiler: you’re not broken, you’re human), we have to do the feeling.

I will help you better to understand yourself and to see yourself with compassion. If you ask yourself, “Why does this keep happening to me?” or “Why can’t we figure this out?” we can explore those patterns and what’s nourishing their roots. Of course, things happen, but how do we heal?

I'm comfortable talking about the uncomfortable. I'm curious without interrogating, and you can tell me when I get it wrong without fear of rebuttal. I have done and continue to do my own race and identity work. I engage with humility and am committed to checking my assumptions and privilege."
