My Approach to Therapy:

I specialize in helping young adults with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and trauma. I use psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapies, including Internal Family Systems and somatic approaches. Together, we may explore relational patterns, build mindfulness around your emotions, thoughts, and body sensations, and develop practical tools to manage distress.

I am particularly passionate about helping BIPOC individuals navigate identity-related issues and cross-cultural conflicts. As a child of immigrants, I understand the unique challenges of growing up in an immigrant household. Additionally, I have conducted grant-funded research on the mental health impact of parent-child relationship difficulties in Asian American families. I often take an attachment-informed approach to help you heal from childhood wounds and improve relationship dynamics.

As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I am excited to understand the specific ways that your mind works and will help you develop skills that work for your individual needs. My goal is to help you explore your identities, let go of masks, and come home to yourself.
