My Approach to Therapy:

You’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to, but you’re missing a deeper sense of connection, belonging, and fulfillment... And it’s only made harder by the injustices and imbalances that exist in your day-to-day life. Navigating systems steeped in racism, white supremacy, and patriarchy. Tone policing and microaggressions in the workplace. Being told you’re “just angry” or “too much” when you speak up. Carrying the wounds and burdens of generations of trauma before you. Wanting to feel connected to a community or culture where you don’t exactly fit the “mold.”
This is a place to freely express yourself, your emotions, and your ideas... and then to process & move through them in meaningful, productive ways. I believe that you have strengths and gifts within you that you haven’t been able to acknowledge before. As your therapist, I get to help you discover them.
I take a multicultural, nontraditional approach to therapy by blending methods that incorporate mind & body. Helping you identify where challenges are coming from & how to work through them. Therapy with me is an environment where you can explore different parts of self: a non-judgmental space where you can gain insight and acceptance.
