My Approach to Therapy:
I help those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, or simply feeling lost. We often receive messages that we must constantly work, give, and change to find happiness or success. Yet, even when we do everything "right," we can be left feeling overwhelmed, unfulfilled, and that we are still not enough. Therapy offers a unique, non-judgmental space to explore your own needs and desires, separate from the expectations of others.
My approach is holistic, insight-oriented, and practical. We will explore the "why" for genuine self-understanding and the "how" for making real-world changes. I primarily integrate psychodynamic therapy and evidence-based skills from CBT, DBT, and expressive arts therapy to help you manage difficult emotions and change unhelpful patterns. My perspective is also informed by an understanding of cultural pressures and life experiences, which have helped clients regain control, confidence, and hope for the future. I hope to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel truly seen, empowered, and equipped with strategies.
