I am part of the team at the The Aguirre Center for Inclusive Psychotherapy, which provides Individual, Relationship, and Group Psychotherapy as well as Psychological Assessment. You are the expert of your lived experience in the room. No matter your primary challenges and goals for counseling, I will encourage autonomy and do my best to weave lessons of self-advocacy within oppressive systems, often by encouraging you to provide blunt feedback on our relationship and my approach as I am not exempt from perpetuating those oppressive dynamics as well. I avoid holding too tightly to certain restrictive and antiquated rules of professionalism (within reason) and let my personality shine through.
