My Approach to Therapy:

I have a special interest in the wellness and wholeness of QTPOC, and helping each person uncover the underlying foundations of their discomforts. I believe in treating the intersections of the mind, body, and spirit. Listening, witnessing, empathizing, and being present are tenets of my therapeutic framework. Being unapologetically black and queer, I am constantly aware of oppression fatigue, and its effects on our emotional and physical wellbeing My hope is to help others achieve awareness, healing, recovery, and resistance. I utilize various modalities such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, narrative therapy, CBT, while treating both adolescents and adults. Recovering our wholeness, safety and healing is not a privilege, it is a right.
