She brings just under 5 years of experience working with high risk youth in outpatient therapy and recovery treatment centers providing individual, family, group, and parent support services in person and virtually. Marisa has a background in medical social work (oncology) and is attuned to the complex needs of families in crisis and long-term care. She works with youth of all ages around issues of trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief/loss, substance use, and family transitions. Marisa leads with authenticity and takes a collaborative and skill-based approach with families and their providers. She uses CBT, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic, and trauma focused approaches.
