My Approach to Therapy:

A proud Latina/Latinx daughter of Colombian immigrants, I spent over 15 years helping to build social justice movements to fight for racial justice, immigrant and student rights. In a warm, nonjudgmental setting, we'll build on your innate wisdom to address issues including: nurturing self-esteem/self-worth; transforming co-dependent relationship patterns into healthy boundaries and true intimacy; healing unresolved trauma and loss; releasing addictive patterns; and undoing internalized oppression. Thinkers Frantz Fanon, Angela Davis, Gloria Anzaldua, Paolo Freire and James Baldwin inform my vision of psychological liberation for folks of color.
