My Approach to Therapy:

As an experienced therapist, I know mental health issues can feel urgent. I understand how hurtful occurrences can impact your life in ways that are unimaginable. I strive to be a good listener without judgment or trying to "fix" you. I use a holistic approach to support you and/or your family members explore and develop their uniqueness. I understand the juggling that occurs to try balance all of the facets of your life and try to take care of YOU too. As a certified with the Center for Mind and Body Medicine, I experience a fullness in my life through the integration of mind and body skills which I also teach others. I use many skills to assist with sleep, manage stress, improve energy, decrease joint pain, stimulate brain functioning and manage anxiety and depression. I strive to be my own “personal best” as I understand that seeking such excellence for myself broadens that which I have to share with others. Expect me to work with you on your journey to improve balance and increase fulfillment. My specialties include women and children's issues, problems impacting older adults, trauma, relationships, grief and loss. I work with the following populations: women, children, older adults, couples and groups.
