My Approach to Therapy:
As a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I have been fortunate to provide clinical treatment to a variety of populations across numerous clinical settings. My background includes serving as a Clinical Social Worker at an adolescent correctional facility; a Psychiatric Clinical Social Worker at an inpatient psychiatric hospital; and a Substance Abuse Clinical Social Worker on an inpatient medical substance abuse unit. I have also served as a Clinical Care Coordinator and Psychotherapist at a Women’s Behavioral Health Perinatal Partial Program and Perinatal OCD Intensive Outpatient Program, as well as a Psychotherapist at an Ivy League university. These rich experiences have allowed me to engage deeply with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds, developmental stages, diagnoses, and psychosocial challenges.
My patients quickly learn that I am comfortable discussing any and all subjects. I provide individual, group, and couples therapy, utilizing a holistic, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and solution-focused lens. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my patients by helping them identify reasonable and attainable steps to address their presenting challenges.
