My Approach to Therapy:

I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) Latina clinical social worker (LICSW in Massachusetts, LCSW in Florida) and the founder of EMDR Unlocked, a telehealth-only practice serving adults across Massachusetts and Florida. My work centers on trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, including the weight of racial and cultural stress that so many of us carry quietly. I'm trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I also draw on trauma-focused, attachment-based, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. EMDR helps your mind and body finally process painful memories so they stop running the present, often without having to retell every detail. Sessions are 55 minutes on a secure video platform, so you can join from home. I strive to create a warm space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered, and where your culture and language are part of the healing, not something to explain. In-network with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, MassHealth, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, Harvard Pilgrim, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, and Tufts Health Public Plans. Free 15-minute consultation at emdrunlocked.com.
