My Approach to Therapy:
Over the past 20+ years, it has been my honor and privilege to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from different cultural backgrounds. I have experience working with clients and families who have had challenges with difficult life events to people struggling with major mental illness. My goal as a therapist is to explore what brings you, your partner and/or child into therapy and together formulate different approaches that utilize your strengths to develop skills to best help you address your specific needs. I understand that issues that bring people to therapy are sensitive in nature and I do my best to work with my clients through difficult circumstances with care and compassion. I am currently the Director of the Outpatient Family Program as well as the coordinator of the Diversity initiative at The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health My work and teaching of clinicians at The Brookline Center inform a culturally sensitive, best practice approach that I bring to my work in therapy.
