My Approach to Therapy:

Feeling connected to and supported by your doctor is important, especially for people of color. I am here to partner with you as we address your mental health concerns. I bring a warm, inquisitive, and compassionate approach to each session. I work with you to help make your appointments feel meaningful; we'll focus on what's important to you, and also address any medication questions or concerns you might have. Together we will work to find a regimen that's right for you, whether it's medications only, talk therapy, or both. I am a board-certified, general adult psychiatrist. I enjoy helping you address your depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, and many other diagnoses. I am enthusiastic about working with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. I have particular expertise in serving veterans, college/university students, and the BIPOC community. I completed my residency training at Harvard Medical School - Cambridge Health Alliance, my medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and my undergraduate degree at Williams College. I have worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as an outpatient psychiatrist since 2017. I have also worked as a staff psychiatrist at Williams College.
