My Approach to Therapy:

I especially enjoy working with Women of Color on their health and wellness journey. I love teaming up with the women I serve to tackle issues ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma healing, relationship issues, disordered eating and emotional weight loss. I do prefer to take a holistic coaching approach with Psychotherapy. Therapy is not a one size fits all! It should be as eclectic and unique as you, and I treat each person as such—on an individual basis. I use both traditional therapeutic approaches and mix in complementary and alternative methods of healing, as well as integrative nutrition and what we're calling "New Agey" today but really are ancient healing methods. I believe that vulnerability is a superpower and when you’re called to action in this way, amazing things can happen. My work with you will encourage you to make radical changes, release stories you’re holding on to, let go of limiting beliefs, shift your mindset, find the healer within and be inspired to live a healthier, more holistic life. My practice is transitioning into a wellness center to offer an array of services to meet various needs in your wellness journey; stay tuned for more of that in February.
