My Approach to Therapy:

Taking new paths from your cultural background, specifically to address emotional, mental, and physical well-being takes courage. You are already that much more courageous to be searching for a way to find help. If you experienced a trauma, struggle with anxiety or question your self-worth. Know that you are not alone and there is hope to make positive changes in your life.

I am a Mexican American therapist who emphasizes the importance of holding space in the therapy room to speak on how your cultural upbringing impacts your self-talk. I understand the struggles and pain associated with trauma. As a result, I work collaboratively with clients to gain coping strategies and build empowerment that will lead to lasting changes. I center the therapeutic experience on providing a nonjudgmental, safe space to process and explore your thoughts and feelings.
