My Approach to Therapy:

Together you and I will tackle any obstacle that might prevent you from being the best you. I specialize working with entertainers as well as athletes who are experiencing stress and need support with college adjustment. I also work with individuals seeking therapy for relationship issues, the stress of fame, urban trauma as well as employment stress and frustrations. Working together, we will look to improve your outlook on troubling issues in your life, interpersonal skills, communication skills and build a better sense of self-worth and self-acceptance. Throughout my years of experience first, as a young athlete playing competitive contact sports or later in life having the opportunity to work in the entertainment industry, this along with my formal training at Adelphi University School of Social Work, has helped shape and sharpen my strength-based clinical approach. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you gain a better understanding of your behaviors and motivations. I will also help you draw the line between your thoughts, feelings, emotions, impulses, and behaviors. We will use this to help you gain positive meaningful changes in your life and in the lives of your friends and loved ones.
