My Approach to Therapy:
As a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I welcome clients with diverse identities and concerns, and work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma/complex PTSD (including survivors of assault/abuse), intersectional/minoritized identities, life transitions, relationship/academic/workplace challenges, immigration/acculturation stress, emotional dysregulation, burnout, and low self-esteem.
I have a flexible, collaborative approach where I work together with the client to tailor treatment goals to their unique needs and at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable. My therapeutic style is rooted in compassionate curiosity and evidence-based care, integrating cognitive behavioral, dialectical, relational, and somatic interventions to help foster lasting, meaningful change.
