My Approach to Therapy:

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and grounded in both relational and trauma-informed care. I work with individuals who may be navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, or the impact of past experiences, and I tailor the work to meet each person’s pace and needs.
I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support trauma processing and help reduce the emotional intensity of difficult memories. Alongside this, I draw from relational therapy, which focuses on understanding patterns that develop in relationships and how they show up in the present. I also incorporate DBT-informed skills, including emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and grounding techniques, to help clients feel more stable and supported in their day-to-day lives.
Early sessions often focus on building clarity around goals, developing tools for regulation, and establishing a sense of safety in the work. From there, we may move into deeper processing, always at a pace that feels manageable.

My goal is to create a space that is both supportive and intentional, where clients can build insight, develop skills, and experience meaningful change over time.
