You deserve a space where you can be your whole self, where you don’t feel judged and don’t need to use filters. Therapy can be that space. Of course, we would do hard work and make changes, but we can do it compassionately, taking care of yourself and your needs.
As a Latina immigrant therapist, I have the personal and professional experience of being a woman of color. You can be brilliant, independent, successful, and feel very insecure and feel like you don’t belong anywhere. Even though your mind has told you this many times, this is not true, and you can choose to replace these beliefs. I speak English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
