My Approach to Therapy:

I am an Iranian-American licensed therapist. I am a child of immigrant parents and identify as a BIPOC woman. As a woman of color, I deeply understand the experience of not being seen or heard. I have experienced racism and sexism as I've navigated the world as an Iranian woman.

I love working with clients who hold marginalized identities. In our work together, we can begin the process of examining systemic issues, healing intergenerational trauma and advocating for social change.

I bring many values to my work as a therapist. I approach our work with love and compassion. I believe it is very important to create trust and safety in the therapeutic process. I want you to feel understood and supported in our work together.

I center social justice in my work with clients. I want you to be truly affirmed in who you are and to feel empowered to make change in your community. I would be honored to work with you and join you on your healing path.
