My Approach to Therapy:

"My purpose as a therapist is to meet you wherever you are in your journey and create a safe, empowering space where we can work together as a team to move you closer toward your personal goals. This may mean working through past trauma, finding ways to get out of a toxic situation, or perhaps it just means helping you get out of your own way.
I specialize in older adolescents and adults who are often viewed as ""complicated"". I have extensive experience with individuals suffering from anxiety/depression and low self-esteem; as well as people in domestic violence relationships, survivors of sexual abuse/trafficking, and a variety of mental illnesses.
My approach is informal, supportive, and I love to laugh! I tell new clients that if you are feeling skeptical about therapy, to have 3 sessions with me before making a decision either way. You at least owe it to yourself to try something different. Please don't hesitate to reach out and take a first step toward becoming a better version of yourself."
