My Approach to Therapy:

I believe therapy should be a safe and affirming space where all parts of your identity are welcomed. My approach is psychodynamic, which means I pay close attention to both your current struggles and the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how you see yourself and relate to others. Together, we explore not just “what’s happening,” but also “why it feels this way,” so you can gain a clearer understanding of yourself and make choices that feel authentic and empowering.

As a bilingual therapist (English/Mandarin) with a multicultural lens, I am mindful of the ways culture, family expectations, race, and migration experiences can impact mental health. I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions, and I offer both individual and couples therapy.

Clients often tell me that my style is compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative. I listen closely, respect the complexity of your inner world, and help you connect the dots between your past and present. My goal is to support you in building insight, resilience, and self-trust as you move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
