My Approach to Therapy:
I believe that all people have an innate propensity towards healing. Difficult or painful experiences can sometimes make us feel stuck, and having support is important to help move through these hard times. Although it may be hard to see in times of challenge, you are a resilient being and I will work with you to help you cultivate and build on this resiliency. My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, compassionate, trauma-informed, collaborative and client-centered. I offer multiple therapeutic modalities and believe it is important to tailor treatment to what works for each individual; My approaches include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, psychodynamic, parts and ego state work, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, body-oriented, and narrative work. My areas of specialty are complex trauma, structural dissociation, depression and anxiety, life transitions, and multicultural issues.
