My Approach to Therapy:
I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, as well as couples therapy, clinical supervision, and consultation services.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and strive to help those I work with feel welcomed, engaged, supported, and respected.
My approach is grounded in a psychodynamic and relational perspective. I am interested in how our earliest and most important relationships, life experiences, and ways of adapting over time shape how we understand ourselves, experience our emotions, and relate to others. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, including how they may emerge within the therapeutic relationship itself, and to develop greater freedom in how we understand ourselves and navigate our lives and relationships.
I believe this work cannot be separated from the social and cultural contexts in which we live. I therefore strive to provide a therapeutic space that welcomes thoughtful exploration of identity and intersectionality, including experiences of culture, difference, oppression, and privilege.
