My Approach to Therapy:

Psychotherapy can be a challenging yet empowering process of self-discovery that helps you to feel more alive and make real, meaningful changes to your life. Having worked widely with people of diverse backgrounds, I approach each therapeutic relationship openly, collaboratively, and compassionately.
My interactive style is informal and understanding yet direct and transparent. Together, we will develop a plan that fits your needs, priorities, and values to address emotional barriers to your happiness and sense of purpose.
I am experienced in working with adults to enhance their self-awareness, mastery, and agency as they make important life decisions and transitions. I specialize in working with members of the AAPI and LGBT communities, including identity and relationships, gender and sexuality issues, and coping with culture-specific, race-related, and other minority stress. I provide individual psychotherapy and coaching to adults residing in Hawaiʻi and California.
Investing in your psychological wellness can be among the most rewarding and life-changing decisions. I am committed to assisting you to navigate new pathways to clarity, personal freedom, and fulfillment. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
