My Approach to Therapy:

"The clients I work with tend to experience double stigma related to race and help seeking, that activate shame. Whether someone is new to therapy or have been in therapy in the past, seeking out therapy is always a brave steps towards self-development. The decision to seek therapy highlights a desire for change. The clients who participate in therapy with me typically report improved confidence, greater ability to manage difficult relationships with family, friends, and colleagues.
I specialize in providing therapy to address unresolved trauma experiences, anxiety and stress, mood changes, relationship conflicts including identity development, as well as issues specific to life transitions. Though I am competent in a variety of treatment approaches and trained in EMDR, I collaborate with clients to determine the most suitable approach for their therapy."
