My Approach to Therapy:
I view therapy as an opportunity to deepen our understandings of ourselves and gain insights into our life experiences. I have developed expertise working with clients with a breadth of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. I also specialize in working with members of marginalized communities, specifically BIPOC folks and members of the LGBT community. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a psychodynamic framework and I am also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused approaches.
