My Approach to Therapy:

Therapy can be a place to process and explore any of the discontent you experience in your day to day life. My approach to therapy stems from the belief that we all deserve supportive space to access and show up as our fullest and most authentic selves. I see my role as your therapist as one where we are co-creating a space for you to build that capacity. I invite thorough exploration of all of the parts of you, with deep care and the belief that an increased sense of self will introduce more choice and empowerment. Together we can re-engage with what may have been accepted as natural and inevitable.
Therapy with me is culturally responsive and relevant. It is trauma-informed and consensual (your comfort and safety are always central, and I will ask your permission at many steps throughout our relationship). It is my goal for us to reclaim the therapeutic process together. In our work I consider the vital context of symptoms and behaviors and how they may be related to the impacts of racism, homophobia, cis-sexism, misogynoir, and the like. As part of these informed approaches, I tend to work with present moment awareness.
I am also interested in working with astrology and tarot, at your discretion and interest.
