My Approach to Therapy:

I believe that healing happens in spaces where clients can show up authentically, process past wounds, and begin to liberate themselves from unhelpful ways of thinking or being. In my work, I often integrate evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy to help clients navigate various challenges. As a Black psychologist, I use a culturally responsive lens to understand how intersecting identities (e.g., race, sexuality, gender) and oppressive systems can uniquely impact someone's well-being. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailors evidenced-based practices to meet your unique needs.
