My Approach to Therapy:
I am a therapist with over 5 years of experience in the field. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the core of clinical work and I utilize an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed approach to cultivate trust and respect with my clients. I utilize a holistic approach, tailored to each individual client that acknowledges each person’s strengths, lived experiences and social identities. I work collaboratively with clients in a solution-focused manner to identify opportunities for growth while acknowledging systemic barriers and personal challenges that inhibit change.
I am dedicated to treating those with marginalized identities and lead with an understanding that each person’s identity impacts how they experience the world. I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, depressive symptoms, life transitions, eating disturbance, stress, and trauma. I also have experience working with families and couples. I encourage you to come as you are and bring your authentic self into this therapeutic space so that we may embark on a journey to improve your well-being.
