My Approach to Therapy:

I offer an invitation to step into a space that offers a profound understanding of YOU, your pain, and the elements that contribute to and even cause your difficulties. I offer a collaborative exploration of what is going on internally – who you are, what you have, and the ways you’ve felt diminished or strengthened, silenced or emboldened. I offer a shared observation of what is going on in your environment – who you’re with, the systems you are embedded in, and how you negotiate the dynamics of marginalization and privilege. I offer companionship in your journey towards integrating pieces of your identity – gender, social status, sexuality, ethnicity, spirituality, family structures, and values – that might seem at odds with one another. I offer an emphatic presence as you build a space to flourish in love, work, and play. I work with a relational psychodynamic frame that allows us to tailor a treatment that is unique to you because the truth is that there is no person with exactly your problem.
