My Approach to Therapy:

I enjoy working with adults across the age spectrum who may struggle to prioritize their needs in the midst of life and responsibilities. I care about supporting folks who are navigating anxiety, traumatic experiences, body image concerns, depression, and life transitions. I use interpersonal, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapies. This means that therapy may involve discussing your relationships, identifying thoughts and emotions rooted in hurtful past experiences that impact you, and discussing tools for managing strong emotions. I am also passionate about working with people who face racism, homophobia, sexism, sizeism, and various forms of prejudice. I’m deeply interested in supporting the unique struggles that individuals who are navigating bicultural identities and intergenerational conflict may face. Above all, you can expect me to keep your core values and beliefs at the forefront, and be culturally mindful and respectful of your whole self.
