My Approach to Therapy:

"I often call myself a therapist/advocate; at the core I am a believer in the resiliency of the human spirit. I have a passion for communities and the family system. I love to work with intergenerational issues; ranging from postpartum concerns, attachment ruptures, and advocacy needs for parents with mental illness. I also seek to engage in communal and community trauma for marginalized people groups; holding space for those who may not have access to any other arenas to feel heard and understood.

In the 9 year span of my career, I've been able to work in multiple treatment environments -- using a variety of traditional and nontraditional modalities. From Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Trauma-Sensitive mindfulness practices, to the creative arts, and attachment-based systems work, I love to make my methods as individualized/special as those who seek my services."
